Indian film sound designer, sound editor and audio mixer
Dr. Resul Pookutty Is an Indian film sound designer, sound editor and audio mixer. In 2009, he won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing, along with Richard Pryke and Ian Tapp, for Slumdog Millionaire. He won the BAFTA Award for Best Sound along with Glenn Freemantle, Richard Pryke, Tom Sayers and Ian Tapp in 2009 for his work in Slumdog Millionaire. In 2010, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India.

Pradyumna Vyas has more than thirty-six years of professional and teaching experience across different spheres of design. Prior to joining NID, he was associated with Kilkenny Design Centre, Republic of Ireland. In 2011, he was awarded for his outstanding contribution to design education at Asia’s Best School Award, Singapore. He was a jury member at the special awards screening panel at Good Design Award (G- Mark), the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, Japan from 2012-2014 & 2016.
