Nomination

  • Nomination Process
    • Fill out the Nomination Form – profile, achievements, and professional details.
    • Focus need to be on unique initiatives – Why do you deserve to be one of the BW People HR 50 Under 50 winner?
    • Nomination fee is ₹20,000 plus applicable GST.
    • Filling up the form and submitting the nomination fees does not guarantee the award.
    • Filling up the nomination form and submitting the processing fees is mandatory for participation.
    • Applications will be reviewed by our esteemed jury panel of top senior HR leaders of the country.
    • Other than the initiatives mentioned in the forms, nominees will be evaluated basis the elevator pitch during the virtual Jury Meet planned in the second week of Jan 2026.
    • Final list of winer list is compiled after the cumulative scores are added from all the jury members basis the forms and virtual elevator pitch.   
    • Processing fees paid for BW People HR 50 Under 50 nomination is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.

    • Our multi-stage evaluation process ensures transparency and merit-based recognition.

      • Stage 1: Screening of forms and profiles by the BW Editorial & Research Team
      • Stage 2: Shortlisting based on innovation, impact, leadership, and contribution
      • Stage 3: Jury Round — In-depth review and scoring by our independent panel of HR industry experts based on filled forms and virtual elevator pitch
      • Stage 4: Final HR 50 Under 50 winners is announced and honoured at the BW People HR 50 Under 50 Awards Ceremony in Jan 2026
  • Key judging parameters
    • Innovative approach- What was unique or creative about the solutions that you gave?
    • Agile strategy – How agile and adaptable is the HR strategy/ initiative?
    • Execution excellence – How well was the strategy designed, developed, and delivered?
    • Measurable impact and ROI- What were the tangible results (in numbers) and business benefits (e.g., improved performance, increased sales, reduced errors, higher retention)?
    • Scalability and sustainability- Can the initiatives be expanded or sustained over time?
    • Learner-centricity- How did it truly meet the needs of the business and industry?
    • Clear objective – What challenge is the HR initiative addressing?
    • Inclusion of new technology in the initiatives

        • What is the process of nomination?

          There is an online process for submission of nominations. Individuals under 50 who have done substantial work in HR can register, access and fill the nomination form, submit relevant documents and make the nomination fees payment for completing the process.

        • Can a nominee submit the nomination form now and pay nomination fees later?

          Without the payment of nomination fees, the nomination process is incomplete, and the form is liable to get rejected.

        • Can an institution nominate for multiple leaders?

          Yes, multiple nominations can be filled by organisations for their HR leaders with separate nomination fee for each nomination.

        • How to make the payment for nomination?

          Once the nomination form is filled, the nominee is directed to a payment page with a link. If there are problems in processing the payment, kindly go to the Contact Us section on this website and contact our team.

        • Are there modifications possible once the nomination form is filled?

          Changes are not possible once the nomination form is filled and submitted. Please fill the form correctly and to the best of your knowledge. Providing wrong information can make the nomination liable to rejection.

        • Is the nomination fee refundable?

          The nomination fee is non-refundable and paying the nomination fees does not guarantee an award. Nomination fees is taken for nomination screening process and arranging the jury for awards.

        • Can I submit my documents for nomination and not appear in front of Jury for evaluation?

          Presenting the elevator pitch in front of the Jury is mandatory. It is a live virtual meet and confirmation for the time to present before the Jury is confirmed from all eligible nominees before the jury meet.
