Government of India selected Kanpur under its Smart City Mission on 23rd June 2017. Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri Venkaiah Naidu Announced Kanpur among those cities who got the opportunity to transform themselves under Smart cities Mission.
Kanpur which is the second largest city of Uttar Pradesh is all set to transform under the Smart Cities mission. Key Projects like Open Gym, Integrated Command & Control Centre, e-CSC, Smart parking Solutions, Waste Management Collection Centres, Smart Travel cards, Digital Payments Services, epathshala, Water Management, Smart metering, Urban Mobility Solutions & Solar Projects are all set to be introduced under this mission.

BW Businessworld announces Smart Cities Conclave – Kanpur 2018 in association with Kanpur Smart City Limited on 17^th November 2018. Kanpur Municipal Corporation is the esteemed “Host Partner” of this premier event which will witness deliberation on varied topics from key stakeholders of Smart City Mission from the State of Uttar Pradesh and various Smart Cities from Across the Country along with Government of India.
