About the Conference
India today faces an enormous challenge, that of harnessing its vast human resource. We stand at 1,352,065,645 and the numbers are increasing every second. A study conducted in early this year said that about 41.08 % of our population is in the age bracket of 25-54 years, 0-14 years stands at 27.34% and 15-24 is at 17.9%. A look at these numbers is sufficient to understand that we are heading for a demographic disaster if this reserve is not harnessed.
Today, unemployment is a major challenge, however, this issue is not due to lack of education but more so due to lack of opportunities and access. But as Albert Einstein said, "In The Middle Of Every Difficulty Lies Opportunity" we can together turn this demographic dividend into a skilled and successful workforce to help India to become a nucleus of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Under the leadership of Honorable Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje, Rajasthan government is leaving no stone unturned to bring about a paradigm shift to the higher education scenario. With the dedicated focus on nurturing innovations and entrepreneurship to make youth employable and generate employment, the Rajasthan government is truly setting a precedent.
As an accomplished society, we must remember that to succeed it is important to collaborate and connect. The role Industry is as important in addressing unemployment. In this context, the 'Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan', in collaboration with BW Education is organizing 3rd Higher Education Conclave on July 20-21 at the Hotel Radisson Blu, Jaipur.
The objective behind the proposed conclave is to ensure that practice meets theory across all functional areas and discussions on Skills, Innovations, Industry Connect and Fostering entrepreneurship are ensuring growth in Higher Education Institutions. The event would also provide a platform to share best practices in Higher Education from across the country.
The conference is a yardstick in initiating a dialogue on bridging the gap between corporate expectations and industry-academia standards which help institutions scale on various aspects to become world class.
