BW Retail World, in association with BW Businessworld, presents the 2nd Inaugural Edition of “Retail Reboot : Reimagining The Customer Experience” We aim to celebrate the achievements of retail businesses across India and commend their innovation, customer-centric approach and contribution to the economy.

At the intersection of innovation, excellence, and consumer-centricity, the “Retail Reboot : Reimagining The Customer Experience” is designed to celebrate and honour the trailblazers, visionaries and disruptors shaping the landscape of the retail industry in India, promising to be a prestigious platform recognizing outstanding achievements across various categories.

      • INDUSTRIAL AWARDS Categories
        1. Apparel Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in apparel sector. This includes clothing for men, women & kids like Indian wear, fusion wear, western wear etc.
        2. Fashion & Accesories Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in fashion and accessories sector. This includes accessories, bags, wrist watches, etc.
        3. Footwear Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in footwear sector. This includes garments worn on the feet for men, women & kids like heels, shoes, loafers, boots etc.
        4. Gems and Jewellery Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in gems and jewellery sector. This includes bracelets, necklaces, earrings, moonstones, raw crystals, pearls, diamonds, etc.
        5. Automobile Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in automobile sector. This includes two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers ranging from mini, hatchback to utility vehicles, light/medium/heavy commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, manufacturers of auto spare parts across various categories of vehicles, tyre manufacturers, heavy industrial vehicles such as earth movers.
        6. Beauty, Cosmetics and Personal Care Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in the Beauty, Cosmetics and Personal Care sector. This includes kajals, lipsticks, eyeshadows, shampoos, moisturizers, hand sanitizers, facewash, premium beauty, fragrances etc.
        7. Consumer Durables & Electronics Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in the consumer durables & electronics sector. This includes electronic devices like televisions, laptops, washing machines etc.
        8. Eyewear Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in eyewear sector. This includes eyeglasses, contact lenses, sunglasses, frames etc.
        9. Grocery Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in grocery sector. This includes confectionaries, health food & organic food, packaged food, dairy & gourmet products, snacks & beverages, food grains, oil & masala, food production etc.
        10. Pharmacies Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in consumer healthcare companies, healthcare providers, medical technology firms, healthcare equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, Online medicine providers/apps, online doctor appointment booking apps/websites, etc.
        11. Home & Lifestyle Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in home and lifestyle sector. This includes kitchen & dining accessories, home decor, home appliances & essentials, bedding, modular kitchen layouts & designs etc.
        12. Mom & Child care Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in mom and baby care sector. This includes maternity & nursing products, kids’ toys, baby furniture and bedding, baby care products, kids & baby clothing etc. 
        13. Mobile Handsets & Accessories Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in the mobile phone and accessories sector. This includes mobile handsets, headphones, wireless earbuds, smartwatches, etc.
        14. Fitness & Sports Brand of the Year
          Recognize a brand in the fitness and sports sector. This includes gym accessories, sports equipment’s, sports shoes, hydration & nutrition products, athleisure, fitness centres etc.
        15. Super Retailers of the Year
          Recognize a super retail store company that has showcased excellence in a wide variety of different areas, including outstanding customer service, commitment to excellence in the provision of high-quality retail display, and the development of effective sustainability strategies. (Must have 1 store consisting of 10000 or more Sq. ft.).
        16. Experiential Store Award
          Recognize a company that has thought outside the box and created a unique store for the consumers. This isn’t necessarily about one particular category or one area of expertise, rather it’s about fostering a ‘culture of creativity/experiments’ that is visible in many different elements in terms of its offering and is unlike anything else seen in the retail industry.
        17. Retail company of the Year
          Recognize and honour a retail company for their outstanding accomplishments and for dominating the retail industry.
        18. Use of Traditional platforms
          Recognizes a campaign that was implemented using various traditional platforms like newspaper, radio, TV etc. and that successfully increased company awareness and/or engagement. (From April 2023 – April 2024)
        19. Use of Social / Digital media
          Recognizes a campaign that was implemented using various digital/social media platforms that successfully increased company awareness and/or engagement. (From April 2023 – April 2024)
        20. Integrated Campaign Award
          Recognizes a campaign that was executed across multiple digital and traditional channels like web, print, social media, radio, emails, etc, and that successfully increased company awareness and/or engagement. The campaign should have been implemented on more than 3 digital platforms. (From April 2023 – April 2024)
        21. Logistics Partner of the Year
          Recognize and honour logistics service providers for their deep expertise in supply chain logistics and warehousing services with high efficiency, customer service orientation and transparency as well as the latest technological applications.
        22. Apparel E-Retailer of the Year
          Recognize an e-brand in the apparel sector. This includes clothing for men, women & kids like Indian wear, fusion wear, western wear etc.
        23. Fashion and Accessories E- Retail Brand of the Year
          Recognize an e-brand in fashion and accessories sector. This includes accessories, bags, wristwatches, etc.
        24. Footwear E-Retailer of the Year
          Recognize an e-brand in the footwear sector. This includes garments worn on the feet for men, women & kids like heels, shoes, loafers, boots etc.
        25. Lingerie E-Retailer of the Year
          Recognize a e-brand in lingerie sector. This includes undergarments, sleepwear, lightweight robes etc.
        26. Super e-Retailers of the Year
          Recognize a super e-retail store that has showcased excellence in a wide variety of different areas, including outstanding customer service, commitment to excellence in the provision of high-quality retail display, and the development of effective sustainability strategies. (Must have a fully functional website)
        27. E-Retail company of the Year
          Recognize and honour an e-retail company for its outstanding accomplishments and for dominating the e-retail industry.
        28. Emerging E-Retailer of the Year
          Recognize an e-brand that has showcased results and made place in the market within a short period. The company should be in existence on/after September 30, 2017.
        29. D2C company of the Year
          Recognize a company that manufactures and sells goods directly to the consumers and has excelled in meeting customer satisfaction, product innovation and aced the game of last-mile delivery.
        30. Payment Gateway of the Year
          Recognize and honour a brand for adopting a digital India vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society using national electronic wallet payment system(s)/payment gateways, through providing customers with enhanced digital experience with multiple platforms to ease electronic transactions for their patrons.
        31. Retail Technology Partner of the Year
          Recognizes a technology provider that has excelled in partnering with retailers to implement innovative solutions. They’ve demonstrably improved the retailer’s business and customer experience through their collaboration. 
        32. Best Customer Insight Strategy 
          Awarded to the retailer who has most effectively employed new strategies using customer feedback and/or data. 
        33. Best Use of Video 
          Awarded for a video strategy that successfully promoted a product, initiative or retailer. (From April 2023 – April 2024) 
        34. Best Use of Festive Marketing 
          Awarded for the most innovative and engaging festive marketing campaign. (From April 2023 – April 2024)
        35. Best Use of Technology 
          Awarded for the use of new technology that has most significantly enhanced the customer experience. 
        36. Restaurant Brand of the Year
          This award recognizes a restaurant brand that has demonstrated exceptional performance and excellence in the food service industry and celebrates the brand’s ability to consistently provide a remarkable dining experience, innovative culinary offerings, exceptional customer service, and a strong presence in the restaurant sector.
        37. Omnichannel Brands
          This award recognizes a company that excels in establishing a seamless and exceptional presence across multiple channels. It is awarded to a business that demonstrates remarkable performance and cohesiveness throughout its omnichannel approach, which includes cross-platform compatibility, top-tier customer service, a substantial increase in sales and profitability, and the creation of new growth opportunities.
        38. Out-of-Home Advertising
          This Award recognizes excellence in innovative, impactful marketing campaigns executed across public spaces. This award celebrates creativity that captures the audience attention in outdoor environments.
        39. Wellness Brand of the Year
          This award recognizes a company that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to promoting health and well-being through innovative products, services, and impactful initiatives. This brand sets a benchmark in the wellness industry, prioritizing customer wellness and holistic care.
      • INDIVIDUAL AWARD Categories
        1. E-Retail Leader of the Year
          Recognize an individual blazing a trail in the e-retail industry, a senior with a proven record of growing the company’s market share and increasing sales. He or she is particularly open to the new rapidly changing trends in the retail world and is using them for their company. He/she understands consumer needs and constantly reviews the strategy for optimization of opportunities.
          Overall work experience should be at least 10 years 
          * Designation CEO or equivalent in the organization 
          * At least 2 years of tenure in their current organization as on September 30, 2022 
          * His/her work has shown innovations in retail industry introduced for marketing effectiveness, the impact created with innovative campaigns, various achievements and accolades, etc. 

        2. Retail Leader of the Year
          Recognize an individual blazing a trail in the retail industry, a senior with a proven record of growing the company’s market share and increasing sales. He or she is particularly open to the new rapidly changing trends in the retail world and is using them for their company. He/she understands consumer needs and constantly reviews the strategy for optimization of opportunities.

        3. Emerging Leader of the Year – in Retail
          Recognize a leader that has showcased results and made place on the market within a short period. The work should must be in existence on/after September 30, 2017

        4. Omni Channel Retailer of the year
          Recognize a leader that is present in various channels, such as brick-and-mortar stores, the internet, mobile applications, etc. The company must show exceptional performance across all modalities like cross-platform compatibility, quality customer service, increase sales and profits, and create new growth opportunities. Must be present in 2 or more platforms. 

        5. Retail SaaS Enabler of the Year
          Recognizes a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that empowers retailers with innovative solutions to streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive sales growth. It will demonstrate a strong track record of helping retailers thrive in the competitive digital landscape.
