Positive

This was one of the very few sessions I have attended which was driven entirely by CFOs and good platform to interact

The external sessions organised were quite insightful and being industry agnostic, relevant to all

The arrangement was impeccable and there is nothing to complain about. This is not easy when you have large group of senior professionals

Though the event was sponsored, the sponsor reps were not all over nudging to sell.

Negative

Time management could have been better as most sessions were running behind schedule and had to be rushed

Decorum may need to be maintained as in some session there were very few attendees. This could be demotivating to speakers.

Once again thanks for the invite and kudos to the entire BW organising team for such eventful/ insightful session.

Firstly a heartfelt Thank you for inviting me and making me part of this August gathering of 70+ CFO’s across various industries.  This offsite platform gave sufficient time to all of us to network and discuss issues of common interest.  The entire event was planned well and all the logistics were just about perfect and hence  I have only positive feedback about the Venue, the place, the transport and all such arrangements.

About the content, apart from the sponsor led sessions( you are compelled for such sessions) all other sessions were well structured.  All the external sessions were blockbuster especially the Gourav Vallabh session.  Clearly shows that any expert sessions are most welcome.  Secondly there was limited participation from BFSI ( Banking and Financial services).  Most welcome if you can create a similar forum for Banking and Financial Services CFO community and have dedicated sessions of common interest.

Regarding Panel discussions, I felt, it was a unnecessary drag and all the topics and discussions were repetitive and didn’t find any value through the panel discussions , especially the day 2 sessions.

Many thanks for such a wonderful event and making me part of this event. Entire event was flawless and everyone has appreciated a lot. However, I have some suggestions for make this better going forward: 

Air Travel exps should be borne by the person attending the event. 

Time given for all programs seems to be less, which has left very little time for Q & A. 

Digitisation is very relevant program, which was covered nicely. 

Other in my opinion can be compliance, Labour Code bill, GST, Trade Tariff and preferential trade agreements by India are some of them. 

Thank you for your warm note and for curating the BW Businessworld CFO offsite at Amritsar very nicely and engaging. It was a thoughtfully designed program and a great opportunity to connect with peers and reflect on theevolving role of the CFO. I truly appreciate the spirit of “For the CFOs, Of theCFOs, By the CFOs”.

From a content perspective, I found the discussions around the future of finance, technology and leadership particularly relevant and engaging, and it was evident that a lot of effort went into curating the sessions and speakers. Few of the speakers were simply wow and unmatching. The interactions with fellow finance leaders were also very valuable and made the offsite worthwhile.​ Regarding the second aspect you mentioned, I would be very interested in more regular content around practical case studies, emerging regulations, technology in finance and real world experiences from CFOs, most of which you are already taking care of. Needless to mention, both evenings were simply greatly organised.

At the outset, let me be very honest to state that the management of the event was excellent in all respects.  

 I attend a few other CFO events but the Amritsar event stood out since it was made interactive engaging all the participants. 

 I have just one feedback for possible improvement for future events: the topics for discussions may be a bit diverse; else it tends to become repetitive. 

I feel the venue was one of the best to attract me to join. An enriching business aspect, technology discussion and divine Gurdwara made in amazing trip. Selection of days made it easy to attend the program, A huge networking opportunity and knowledge sharing platform, overall very enriching experience.

Technology advancement considering the huge attrition and getting right set of talent, would be really useful apart from the current changes/ topics on law and regulator side.

“Thank you for hosting the event “For the CFOs, Of the CFOs, By the CFOs.” The discussions were extremely relevant to the evolving role of the finance function and its growing responsibility in driving sustainable growth through automation and efficiency across the value chain.

The sessions by Dr. Batra, Mr. Hoshie, Dr. Parthasarathy, Dr. Gaurav Vallabh, and ICAI President CA Nanda were truly inspiring and left a lasting impression. Each speaker brought valuable perspectives that resonated strongly with the current challenges and opportunities faced by finance leaders.

It was also a pleasure to interact and exchange views with fellow finance leaders from diverse businesses, which added immense value to the overall experience.
