The most celebrated names in Indian Contemporary Art gather under one roof at the BW Businessworld Masterpiece 40 Under 40 & the Art Excellence Summit & Awards. We focus on art across performance, video, installation, digital media, painting and sculpture.
Experts from the world of Indian art will share insights about the art market in a day-long conference. In addition to talks and presentations, the audience will be invited to immerse themselves in workshops and masterclasses. The day will close with the much-anticipated 40 under 40 Awards & the Art Excellence Award.

According to the 2024 Hurun India Art List, sales by the top 50 artists reached a record-breaking US$36.2 million (Rs. 301 crore), a 19 per cent increase from the previous year. The brilliance of our artists has helped put Indian contemporary art on the world map. The robust growth path seen over the last few years has been a combined effort of a bevvy of professionals, such as curators, critics, business heads, educators and many more. Nominations
- All participants must be 40 or below the age of 40 at the time of submitting their entries.
- Curators and Business Heads must have at least six months of professional work to show.
- Art Critics and Writers must have least six months of professional experience.
- Educators must represent recognized colleges and universities.
- Information shared in this form will be used by BW Businessworld for jury assessment.
- The Awards Management & the Jury hold the right to disqualify any entry if the form submitted is incomplete or the information provided is false.
- Participation is open to artists over the age of 30.
- All participants must have at least five years of professional work to show (group/ solo exhibitions, residencies, or creative projects) when submitting their entries.
- Information shared in this form will be used by BW Businessworld for jury assessment.
- The Awards Management & the Jury hold the right to disqualify any entry if the form submitted is incomplete or the information provided is false.
