Alok Ohrie leads the India Commercial business for Dell EMC. He is responsible for successfully driving the India growth strategy, delivering innovative solutions to commercial customers, enhancing the channel partner ecosystem, and government engagement.

Under Alok’s leadership, Dell India has progressed to become the fastest-growing market for Dell globally and a technology solutions market leader. Alok has been the architect of Dell India’s transformational go-to-market strategy, establishing a robust, multi-tiered partner ecosystem that has played a pivotal role in scripting the company’s India success story. He has played a key role in building and nurturing a strong leadership team and talent pool, while also forging a One-Dell culture across the India organization.

Prior to joining Dell, Alok has had a highly distinguished career spanning over two decades, with various leadership roles at IBM, AMD and EMC. He is an accomplished business leader with a proven track record of managing businesses, people, customer and partner relationships. He has a deep understanding of the changing needs of customers and a wealth of experience in delivering solutions across Asia Pacific.

Alok is a member of several industry bodies and a much sought-after speaker at various industry forums. He is Chairman of ASSOCHAM’s National Council of Electronics Manufacturing, Co-Chair of National Committee on IT & ITES and Member of National Council – CII, Steering Committee member of the Indian Retail Forum, and recipient of the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Channel Ecosystem’ award by VAR India 2013. He is recognized as a visionary with a keen understanding of technology, and for his contributions to the technology industry.
