According to a study by Nasscom, India has the third highest count of the start-ups in the world with an average of around 1000 start-ups seeing the light of the day every year. 72% entrepreneurs with an average age of 35 and below are reigning the entrepreneurial market as on date. It is forecasted that India will be home to over 20,000 start-ups by 2020, helping create 2.5 lakhs direct and indirect employment opportunities.

With above context in mind, BW Businessworld is hosting its 4th Annual Young Entrepreneur’s Summit, an interactive and insightful platform endeavouring to generate interesting debates on issues related to Indian Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. The summit will be followed by Young Entrepreneur Awards, an annual event conceptualized by BW Businessworld to recognize India's Hottest Young Entrepreneurs 2017, where start-ups who transformed the Indian ecosystem will be identified, acknowledged, and celebrated.

Young Entrepreneur Awards is an annual event conceptualized by BW Businessworld to recognize India's Hottest Young Entrepreneurs 2017. In its 4th edition, companies can submit their nominations by 19th December 2017 for one of their founding members or CXOs. Nominations can be categorized under companies with 0-3 of experience and companies with 3-7 years of experience. Requirements for filing a nomination are, one, minimum capital of ₨ 5,00,000 and ₨ 25,00,000 respectively and, two, 80% of revenue should be from domestic operations.
