Amit Kumar is the Group President & Country Head, Corporate Banking at YES BANK. As a professional entrepreneur manager, since 2004, he is part of the founding team at YES Bank which is progressively establishing a high quality, state-of-the-art private Indian Bank with a vision of “Building the Best Quality Bank of the World in India” by 2015.

Amit has been responsible for building the wholesale banking business of the bank since its inception. As part of the top management team of YES Bank, Amit is responsible for managing the wholesale banking business nationally for bank in India with the primary objective of developing new businesses for the various offerings of the bank in line with the its strategy, ensure sustained revenue and liability generation, proactively manage portfolio risk, build and manage a team of relationship managers, ensure adherence to systems, control and processes and communicate YES Bank brand. Amit is a member of the various committees of the bank viz. asset liability, risk management, FASCOM, etc.

Amit was presented the Golden Pin by the Founder / Managing Director and CEO of YES Bank in 2009, the highest entrepreneurial and professional recognition for institution building and consistent performance excellence in YES Bank, amongst several other enterprising achievements.

Prior to joining YES BANK, he was with ANZ Investment Bank (1996-2004) where he was responsible for building the Corporate & Project Finance business of the bank focusing on M&A/Capital Raising/Government disinvestments/restructurings and project advisory and financing. Prior to ANZ, Amit was with SBI Capital Markets Ltd (1991-96), a leading merchant bank, and was responsible for setting up the corporate advisory and project finance advisory/syndication businesses at SBICAP. Prior to SBICAP, Amit was with Tata Steel (1988-89) as a Systems Analyst after completion of his engineering degree. Amit has over 25 years of professional experience in various capacities in several premier and leading Private, Public, Multinational and Entrepreneurial Organisations. In the various roles, Amit has dealt extensively with the leading Private Corporates, Multinationals, Central & State Governments and State Owned enterprises.

Amit is member of various industry associations, including FICCI, CII and Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, amongst others.

A Pharma professional with over 30 years experience in the industry, across various functions such as International Business, Finance, Operations, Projects and Corporate Management.

In 2002, Mr. Bambolkar was selected from amongst several eminent and senior executives across various businesses in India to undergo a Management Development Programme jointly conducted by the Indian School of Business (ISB) at Hyderabad in India and the Kellogg Business School at Chicago in USA. At Kellogg, he was familiarized with new Management thoughts, Ideas and also had an opportunity to meet with and draw from the knowledge of several eminent Management Gurus including Philip Kotler and Deepak Jain, the then Dean of The Kellogg Business School.

Appointed Joint Managing Director of Indoco from February 2012. Prior to this he was a Board Member with responsibilities of Finance & Operations. As Joint Managing Director, he is responsible for overall Management of the company with special focus on the International Business, the Finance Portfolio, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations at Indoco. Indoco has a state-of-art R&D center, housing excellent research facilities. Indoco’s manufacturing plants have been accredited with all the advanced regulatory approvals, such as US FDA, UK MHRA, MCC SOUTH AFRICA, TGA AUSTRALIA etc. Mr. Bambolkar travels extensively across the globe in connection with Indoco’s International Business.

Dr. Murtaza Khorakiwala represents a unique blend of scientific knowledge and business acumen: a graduate in Medicine from GS Medical College, Mumbai, India and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois, USA. Dr Murtaza Khorakiwala has been Managing Director of Wockhardt Ltd since the last 7 years.

Dr Khorakiwala firmly believes that challenges provide the greatest opportunity to improve and grow. Difficulties and challenges drive Dr. Khorakiwala and the same reflects in his style of leadership as well. He says “ Man’s success is limited only by his own imagination. When not working, he likes reading books. Besides books, Dr. Khorakiwala is also a sports lover. In his younger days in school he played cricket and tennis for his school. An ardent enthusiast he follows sports intently. A member of the executive committee of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), he was the Past Chairman of the Marketing Committee of the Bombay Management Association.

S.M.Mudda is a Pharmacy graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies. He has more than 40 years of wide experience in pharmaceutical industry covering all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Currently, he is Director – Global Strategy (Technical) at Micro Labs Limited, Bangalore, a 2800 crore company, with whom he is associated for more than 30 years. He is responsible for all technical strategic decisions of the company.He has designed world-class, GMP-compliant facilities of various dosage forms such as, Oral Solid Dosage Forms- General Plants and dedicated plants for handling Penicilllins and Cephalosporins and facilities for Sterile Products such as Ophthalmic products in Blow-Fill-Seal Packs, Sterile powder for injections etc; at Micro Labs Limited, Bangalore and FDC Limited, Mumbai. These plants have been approved by the agencies such as UK MHRA, US FDA, WHO, MCC, South Africa, HEALTH CANADA and ANVISA Brazil.

Ranjana has over three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the USA, held senior leadership positions with increasing responsibilities in various organizations. She worked for Branded and generic companies such as Watson/Actavis, Endo/Dupont Pharmaceuticals, Zenith Goldline, Thames Pharmacal, with extensive experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as FDA, MHRA, ANVISA, MCC, WHO, to name a few.

Ranjana served in the role of Sr. Vice President of Global Quality for Watson/Actavis Pharmaceuticals, was responsible for world-wide quality. Prior to Watson/Actavis, Ranjana worked as Vice President of Quality and Compliance at Endo Pharmaceuticals.

Ranjana has a Doctorate in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, USA.; MBA from Dowling College, New York; Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical & Chemical Analysis from Sophia College; Bachelors of Science (Honors) in Chemistry from Mithibai College, Mumbai. Leadership course in Pharmaceutical and Biologics from Harvard University. She has been published a few times, taught/lectured in many pharmaceutical courses/seminars on various topics (validation, PQR/APR, Compliance issues etc.). She loves Reading & Dancing and is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. Ranjana was awarded the Rising Star award in 2006 by Healthcare Business Association.

With over two decades of experience in leadership positions in the finance domain, Ramesh is the CFO, Lupin Limited. His areas of responsibilities include the entire gamut of Finance & Accounting, Legal and Information Technology and is also responsible for the Corporate Strategic Planning department for the company. A key member of Lupin’s core strategy think-tank and a member of Lupin’s Board, he has guided the company through numerous Mergers & Acquisitions and enabled the company’s successful entry into some of the largest pharmaceutical markets globally.

Prior to joining Lupin, Ramesh was with Henkel, Germany where he held corporate responsibilities as the Regional Financial Controller for several countries across the Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He has also worked with companies such as VST Industries, the SPIC group and the Standard Chartered Bank and has a successful track record of building finance as a key business enabler and fostering collaboration in a culturally diverse, global and matrixed workplace.

Ramesh has been the recipient of several awards from various forums including Best CFO Awards in the Healthcare Sector and theme based Awards from Institutions like CNBC, ICAI, Yes Bank-Business Today, Institutional Investors, CFO Asia etc.,

A Lord Chevening scholar at the UK for Management Studies, Ramesh is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, the Institute of Company Secretaries in India and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. He has also done his Senior Management Program from INSEAD, France.

Mr. Daara B. Patel is a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mumbai and has a Diploma in Materials Management from Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM).
